Rab have used their own Matrix 2 layer bonded softshell fabric; this robust and high performance fabric provides reliable water and wind resistance in a variety of conditions. Unlike some standard softshells, a stretch nylon face with a polyester grid fleece back is used; the nylon provides strength and increases the lifespan of the jacket, while the grid fleece back creates a more comfortable and warmer experience.
